This is a one-time, non-refundable, $20 application fee required for the processing of your 2020 Deckhand Training Program application. 

This is a competitive, paid, job-training program through Alaska Longline Fishermen's Association (ALFA). We typically receive over 100 applications per year, and place between 12-18 finalist deckhands with host skippers.

Application period closes on Feb. 28th, 2020. All applications will be reviewed in March. Finalist should start hearing back from skippers mid-April to late-June.
